Weapons department launches digital weapon license through “Absher” and “Tawakkalna” apps

The general department of weapons and explosives has launched a digital weapon license service through Absher and Tawakkalna apps. The step comes as part of the department’s endeavor to achieve digital transformation in its procedures and services.
The service, which can be executed through Absher and Tawakkalna applications, allows citizens to review the digital license, the owner name, the authorized weapon type and number, the manufacturing country, the number of ammunition and the license expiry date.
It is noted that Absher platform is working to add more online services that benefit the citizens and residents; so far, the total number of services provided through "Absher" has reached more than 300 services, benefiting more than 23 million users.
