No passport number is required for registration process.

The system will ask you to enter the "user name, your old password, new password and the answer of secret security question" you provided upon registration.

Why can't I Log in to My Account?

This problem can happen if the user name or password that you entered is incorrect. Enter the correct user name and password to solve the problem.
Also note, that User ID and password are case sensitive.

How can I change my registered email?

Log on your Absher account and from "User Information"; you can edit and change your profile details including your e-mail.

What is meant by registered and activated users?

Registered users: they are users who are registered their data in the Absher platform only and their accounts have not been activated.
Activated users: they are users who registered in the Absher platform and their accounts have been activated through the self-service machines, banks or activation staff.

Can I modify the name in English in the passport through Absher?

No, however, modifying request can be executed (upon issuance or renewal) by visiting one of the Passport branches after reserving an appointment or by authorizing another person to review the passports on your behalf to implement the service.

You can update your educational certificate by visiting the Agency of Civil Affairs.

Can Absher account username be modified?

Currently, it is not possible to modify the username of Absher platform account, but it is possible to use national ID number or iqama number to enter the Absher.

Can I update the mobile number while I am outside the Kingdom?
-
In the event that you can log in to your account in the Absher platform and you can receive text messages outside the Kingdom on the registered mobile phone number and the new mobile number that you want to update in your account on the Absher platform, you can implement the update directly through your account, but if you do not have a feature to receive Short messages outside the Kingdom, or you cannot use your number currently registered, it is not possible to update your mobile in Absher except through the self-service devices located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

How could I activate my account in the Ministry’s portal through Al Rajhi Bank?

To activate your account in MOI Portal (Abhser) portal through Al-Rajhi Bank, please follow these steps:
First: Mubasher Alrajhi:
• Choose Services icon.
• Press on "Register in Absher" from drop menu.
• After reading Service Description press accept
• Your information will appear to you, click proceed.
• After completing steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS with details.
Second: Al-Rajhi ATM:
• Enter your card at an ATM and select "other operations" from the main menu
• Select "portal of the Ministry of Interior (Absher)" from the submenu
• Make sure of your personal information and contact number, and then continue the steps to complete the registration process
After completing the previous steps, you will receive a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number.
Third: Phone banking:
• Call phone number 920003344
• After entering customer number, and PIN, select No. 5
• Select No. 4 in the next step to complete the activation process.

First: Activation via Riyad Online:
• Select other services
• Press on (Registration in Absher Services)
• Ensure your personal data; then press on confirm
• After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.
Second: Activation via Riyad Mobile:
• Select other services from the side menu
• Press on (Absher Registration)
• Ensure your personal data; then accept the T&C and press on agree
• After you complete the steps, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number.
Third: activation through RiyadLine
• Contact RiyadLine at 920002470.
• After entering the RiyadLine login Credentials, choose the Settings and Other Services from the main menu.
• Choose the Other Services option from the list of services.
• Choose the ABSHER registration service from the list.
• Accept the terms and conditions then confirm the customer's ID number and mobile number.
• Confirm to registration service successfully.
The ABSHER registration information will be sent by SMS to your registered mobile number at Riyad Bank.
